FRIDAY OCT. 17, 2008 directors from beyond the veil a special one-night film and art event For more information, contact z.polyglot@gmail.com [Chicago] Please join us Friday evening, Oct. 17, 2008, for a contemporary vision of the Middle East as seen through the lens of two of the region's rising female directors: a screening of Zeina Durra's short film The Seventh Dog, followed by Nadine Labaki's directorial debut, Caramel.
Also featured will be an exhibit of photomontage and modern calligraphy by Alex Aubry, and a photo essay on contemporary Egypt by Chicago photographer Ron Reason.
